New Data Science course EBC6300A-Fall 2019

Hello everyone,

The EBT program will be offering a new course on Data Science in the Fall (2019). The course is titled EBC6300A Topics in Electronic Business – Fundamentals of Applied Data Science.

The course was originally offered on Monday from 14:30 to 17:30 PM, which conflicted with other EBT courses. Therefore, we just moved the course to Monday from 11:30 to 14:30 to ensure that everyone can register.

 I highly recommend the course if you are interested in data science.

 Course Description:

Essential data science concepts relevant to practical applications are covered including problem formulation; data acquisition; data pre-preprocessing, modelling and statistical analysis. Hands-on experience with data science tools and techniques including supervised and unsupervised machine learning; presentation of results; applications in areas such as accounting, finance, marketing and supply chain management.
