Peruvemba S. Jaya, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor in the Department of Communication, University of Ottawa. Born and raised in India, Dr. Jaya graduated with a BA (Hons.) in sociology from the University of Delhi, and an MA in Sociology from the Delhi School of Economics. After working for a few years as a manager in the insurance industry, Dr. Jaya earned a PhD in business administration at the University of Rhode Island, USA, specializing in organizational behavior and international management.
