Here are some important updates and information from the international office at uOttawa:

 

Information Session: Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP)

To answer your numerous questions related to the PGWP, the InternationalOffice is hosting a virtual information session where you will learn how to apply for a post-graduation work permit. We will go over the eligibility criteria, application timelines, necessary steps, and documents required. You will also have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have on this topic.

When? May 12 (in French) and May 13 (in English) from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

How to participate? Please consult the instructions to join the Zoom sessions in French or in English.

Career Development Centre (CDC)

Job Search Tools

The CDC offers tools such as labour market information, writing a cover letter and a resume, etc. in order to better guide you in the search for a job. Please consult the list of job search tools offered by the CDC.

Online appointment with a counsellor

Until further notice, the Career Development Centre will be offering its services remotely.

To make an appointment, write to cdc@uOttawa.ca, indicating the service sought and a few time slots where you are available for a remote meeting.

Virtual Wellness Events

The Mental Health and Wellness team has created a webpage where you can find mental health and wellness related activities that are being offered virtually by the University of Ottawa. We encourage you to check out all virtual wellness events coming up including workshops, fitness classes and much more!
