  • 2016: Practitioner-to-CAIS Award for best paper at the 2016 Canadian Association for Information Science conference
  • 2014: Inaugural holder of the Louis Meerts Chair in Specialised Communication, KU Leuven, Belgium
  • 2013: Vinay & Darbelnet Prize awarded by the Canadian Association for Translation Studies
